About us
Training the journalists Australia needs
Reportzofy was founded with a single purpose: to close the gap between journalism education and the fast-moving demands of the modern newsroom.
Our mission
Practical skills for the real newsroom
Reportzofy was established in Sydney in 2009 by a group of senior journalists frustrated by the gap between academic media degrees and the practical skills employers actually needed. Since then we have trained over 2,400 graduates who now work across Australia's leading broadcast, print, and digital newsrooms.
Our curriculum spans the complete journalism workflow — from rigorous story research and source verification to field interview technique, broadcast scriptwriting, video production, and the delivery of polished, publication-ready news packages.
